Bella's thoughts on Vibe Stride!.......
I know it's kinda daft - being 40 (yuck) there are times that I think about when I would/should retire from Presenting Vibe. When will I know longer be able to Present with the presence that I currently do? Especially when I sit alongside whippersnappers like Jo and Lisa!! Delvin and I, as the oldest Presenters of Vibe, have discussed this in the past. I don't want to look like mutton strutting like lamb when I'm past it - that's no good for the punters and there's only so much surgery a girl can have - no one really wants to do a Joan Rivers surely!?
And then there was Vibe Stride......NO I'm not telling you that this fabulous concept is for the Young at Heart Brigade - it's bloody hard if you want it to be! I'm telling you that this new and exciting concept is far more 'multi age appealing' than the reputation of Vibe Cycle and indoor cycling concepts in general which has a 'top end fitness' type umberella - whether that's true is, for this discussion, neither here nor there.
Vibe Stride has a valid relationship with the M5 Striders. The computer gears and suggestions made by the Vibe Stride Instructor is purely a suggestion and the resistance clients can work with remains their own choice as long as there is beat and rhythm which unifies the group - as is the philosophy of Vibe. Because of the upright working position of this concept the choice of gear for the participant, I feel, is greater than that of a indoor bike, hence, if a client walks into the gym then they can Vibe Stride...........and ultimately that keeps me in a job!!!!!!!! I can now look to retire when I am 82 and can no longer keep an upright working position!!! I will be a mutton dressed in lamb clothing and shocking the clients when my chest sway reaches new heights!!!!!!
I love this concept and I can enjoy it young and I will definately enjoy it old!!!!!
God.......do I have to get old??!! Lets hope science pushes forward really quick!!
Much love to our very respected Vibe fans! x
