Ooo I love the Vibe Stride!

 

 

I know us presenters write the words 'amazing' awesome' 'fantastic'  blah blah alot, now it's relivant! The most amazing, awesome, fantastic new group exercise genre 'Vibe Stride' is hitting the country.

Delvin Clarke, creator of Vibe Stride and Vibe Cycle has created something that is a first class workout, first class fun and dooable by everyone who walks in the gym. 

Launched on the M5 cross trainer, it is very compact, beautiful looking (yes that counts!) piece of kit and has a turn as smooth as silk. Like the M3 Keiser bikes the cross trainers have a magnetized resistance mechanism - like when you put two magnet north poles together, they create a force between them. The full turn of the foot plate is a perfectly controlled action with no drive and relax, just a constant, fantastic!

So - a fabulous piece of kit - an absolutely amazing program for it!

Vibe Stride, as all Vibe concepts, is beat and rhythm based for the entire set. The program is for group participation in a studio environment and 100% music driven. Movements and activities are set around different working position both for hands and body position. For all those with Vibe Cycle experience the possibilities of variation are many and, I believe, Vibe Stride has even more variations than that of on the bike.


As a Vibe Cycle Presenter there isn't much that I haven't seen one of the team do on the bike and we are all still finding new variations all the time. With Vibe Stride there is a much bigger book of possibilities - yeehaaa!!! That's why its unbelievable!

Mr D says he feels Vibe Stride will be even bigger that Vibe Cycle and here's why - in the gym environment cycle classes have a reputation for being for the 'already fit'. I know all you instructors out there have heard many say 'god I couldn't possibly do that' and for quite a few they never will. So, there is a proportion of clients who miss this genre of group exercise and all that Vibe Cycle encompasses - shame don't you think?

Now..... on the Strider with Vibe Stride anyone can do it! Because the physical position is upright then any one that walks in the gym should be able to do it baring any other physical problems. Because the Strider works on numbered gears the participant is able to choose their own resistance whilst keeping beat and rhythm. The general call is for the instructor to make a gear recommendation and then for each individual to choose the same or two higher or two lower. The music speed and type still sets the terrain of the work out for that track and the movements and activities are added for challenge, core strength, balance and cardio and muscular fitness - totally fantastic!

I've been in the industry along time and I have never been so excited about a new fitness genre before. Delvin, bloody marvelous!
